Meet Adunni Ade, a celebrated Nigerian actress, writer, model, producer, and director, whose talent has graced the entertainment industry for over two decades. Born on the 7th of June 1976 in Queens, New York, this award-winning actress has left an indelible mark on the Nigerian film industry, captivating audiences with the diverse characters she portrays.

Adunni Ade’s unique background reflects her parents’ diverse ethnicities: her father hails from Yoruba Nigerian descent, while her mother, Emily Faye, is of German-Irish origin. At the tender age of two, Adunni and her parents relocated to Nigeria to pay their final respects at her grandfather’s burial.

Growing up in Lagos State, Adunni Ade attended Chrisland Primary School in Opebi, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate, setting the foundation for her future success in the entertainment world. Now at the age of 45, Adunni Ade continues to captivate and inspire audiences with her remarkable talent and passion for the craft.

Adunni Ade came to Nigeria with her parent at the age of 2 for her grandfather’s burial. Her parent enrolled her into Chrisland Primary School in Opebi, Lagos State, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate.

Having completed her primary school education and as well as obtaining her certificate she then proceeded to Bells Comprehensive Secondary School, Ota, Ogun State. In 2008, the distinguished and hard-working actress graduated from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, Kentucky, the USA where she bagged her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

After her education, she worked in the housing and insurance sector in the US before switching to the entertainment industry.

She also ventured into modeling and was featured in America’s Next Top Model. After returning to Nigeria, she landed her first Nollywood role in the film You or I.
