Eniola Ajao, the renowned Nollywood actress, has finally addressed the controversy surrounding the Bobrisky incident.

According to reports from Infotrend, Eniola Ajao premiered her highly anticipated movie, “Ajanaku: Beast of Two Worlds,” on Sunday, with numerous celebrities in attendance. The event witnessed attendees donning intriguing costumes, and to the surprise of many, Bobrisky was named the Best Dressed Female of the night, earning a substantial prize. However, this decision stirred discontent among several individuals.

The crossdresser’s victory sparked online drama, leading to clashes between Toyin Abraham, Dayo Amusa, Portable, and others. The situation escalated further when Femi Adebayo and Dayo Amusa engaged in a public dispute over the criticism of announcing Bobrisky as the winner.

During an interview with Arise News TV, Eniola revealed that selecting Bobrisky as the winner was a deliberate move aimed at garnering attention for her movie, serving as a publicity stunt and marketing tactic. She emphasized Bobrisky’s controversial persona as a key factor in her decision to award him the Best Dressed Female title, aiming to stir up buzz for her project.

Eniola explained that the intention was to spark conversation and generate interest in the movie, clarifying that Femi Adebayo, who innocently assisted as the presenter, was unaware of the scheme. She expressed regret for any unintended consequences, extending a heartfelt apology to him and acknowledging his supportive gesture towards a fellow colleague he considers a sister. Eniola also apologized to Dayo Amusa and others who may have been offended by the outcome of the situation.

“Hey fam, I was on @arisenewsofficial today to promote the most-anticipated movie of the season, @ajakajumovie and I touched on the trending issue of best-dressed female at the premiere

I appreciate all women all around the globe. You all are strong, bold, powerful, fierce, and monumental. Nothing in the world, not my decisions or that of anyone can take that away from you. Please, guys, take it easy on my boss @femiadebayosalami, all he did was to support his sister and things went south – a position nobody deserves to find themselves in. I apologize to him, @dayoamusa, and to EVERYONE who feels offended about how everything turned out. Please, don’t throw the baby away with the bathwater

Thanks for the unwavering love and support! Come March 29, I can’t wait for you all to see @ajakajumovie and you will be glad you did. Spread the word – BEAST OF TWO WORLDS is coming!!!!”.
