Mohbad was not the one that name his son Liam, the real father did – Singer’s father reveals (Video)

Mr. Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has explained his decision to request a paternity test for his grandson, Liam Light. In a recent interview, he disclosed that Liam was named not by Mohbad but by his wife, Wunmi Aloba. The clergyman and singer expressed that he initially intended to name his grandson Victor, but Wunmi chose the name Liam, leading to his doubts regarding the child’s paternity.

After Mohbad’s passing on September 12, 2023, he was initially laid to rest in Ikorodu, Lagos State. Subsequently, his family became entangled in a persistent conflict over his estate and the necessity of conducting a DNA test on Liam. Mr. Aloba has been reportedly postponing the singer’s reinterment pending the examination of a paternity test. It’s noteworthy that the Lagos state court has mandated Wunmi to conduct a DNA test on Liam. In a recent interview, Mr. Aloba expressed suspicions regarding the birth of Mohbad’s son, citing the Muslim name Liam, which contrasts with Christian tradition.

In his words, “My son did not give him Liam. I wanted to give him Victor, they said no, they gave him Liam. And it’s Muslim that bear Liam not Christian. That was when I suspected that the boy’s Placenta that they did not give me during his birth was given to the real father of the child”.

He married his wife after finding out they were expecting and doesn’t want the baby mama tag on the love of his life. Baba agba leave your son’s widow alone and go get a freaking life!!”

nikky_owokoya said, “Not again !!!! Liam is a boy’s given name of Irish origin. It is a diminutive of the British name William, meaning “helmet of will” or “protection.” Liam also points to a “strong-willed warrior,” so baby can hope to embody courage and determination as they flourish! Liam is popular in Ireland and the UK”.

ripplevents said, “What about the video of him telling ojb that his son’s name is Liam, he even explained to him the meaning of the name 😏😏😏”.
