Reports indicate that Nollywood actress Ashabi Simple, whose real name is Akinyanju Omobolarinde, has taken the step of deleting every Instagram photo featuring her baby daddy, singer Habib Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.
This decision came in the wake of significant criticism directed at Ashabi Simple on social media, following Portable’s public condemnation of her for giving an interview about their relationship.
In a highly controversial move, Portable strongly criticized his baby mama for portraying him as solely interested in her, despite his existing wives and other children. He condemned her for disrespecting his first wife during the interview, sparking further debate and scrutiny online.
Following this, Ashabi Simple yanked off all the posts of Portable from her page, a move that many see as a retaliation for her disrespect on social media.
The actress shared a photo of her son on her Instagram story where she noted that the young boy is her gain.
Months ago, Ashabi disclosed that she is unbothered by Portable’s ways of flaunting his wives on social media. She consoled herself with the fact that the singer already had multiple baby mamas before her.
Following this Ashabi Simple penned a note to Portable, appreciating him for always being the first person to wish her a happy birthday and surprising her with gifts.
She admitted that though she isn’t his favorite, he still shows love for her, and his concern speaks for itself. She revealed that she wasn’t even expecting anything closer to this.
In October, Gossipinfo reported that the fast rising actress treated her baby daddy to a surprise after his return to Nigeria.
The movie star had gone all out for her man welcoming him home with balloons, love cards, roses, wines, and more, which caught him off guard and left him speechless. The singer, who was impressed with her grand gesture, held on to her as the lovebirds kissed.
In her caption, Ashabi stated that it was her little way of appreciating his hard work and support and for conantly making them proud.
