“I almost committed suiiciide, because I was broke”- Jamiu  Azeez finally give reasons on why he cried out for depression  (Video)

Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez expressed gratitude on his social media platform for the overwhelming support and concern from his colleagues and fans after he opened up about his struggles with depression. He thanked them sincerely, acknowledging the significance of their love and support. Additionally, he apologized to his fans and family members who may have felt let down by his emotional outpouring. Azeez clarified that his intention wasn’t solely about battling depression but also about encouraging both individuals and celebrities to speak up during challenging times.

He wrote “Feeling really down and sad is something many people go through.  Sometimes, it’s hard to talk about because we worry what others might think. But it’s important to speak up, even if people don’t understand at first.

Being depressed isn’t something to be ashamed of. It’s like having a heavy cloud over you that won’t go away. But the good news is, talking about it can help. It’s like letting some of that cloud drift away.

So, if you’re feeling low, don’t keep it to yourself. Tell someone you trust—a friend, a family member, or a teacher. They might not have all the answers, but they can listen and support you.

And if you notice someone else seems down, reach out to them. Let them know you’re there to listen. Together, we can make talking about depression easier and help each other feel better.
