In the cinematic creation, “A Tribe Called Judah,” Funke Akindele’s character is portrayed as a single mother with five children: Emeka (Jide Kene Achufusi), Adamu (Uzee Usman), Shina (Tobi Makinde), Pere (Timini Egbuson), and Ejiro (Olumide Oworu). The storyline revolves around Funke Akindele’s character consistently coming to the aid of her son Pere, who claims to be framed in various situations.
In a humorous twist off-screen, Timini Egbuson, who plays Pere in the movie, took to his verified Instagram page to playfully inform Funke Akindele that he was going for perfume shopping and might end up stealing. Jokingly anticipating the need for rescue, he tagged his on-screen mother, suggesting that she should come to his aid once again.
Adding a touch of humor, Timini (Pere) expressed confidence that he would be saved this time after stealing, pointing out that he was in America, where there is no jungle justice like in Nigeria. The lighthearted post reflects the playful camaraderie among the cast and adds a delightful dimension to the success of “A Tribe Called Judah.”
He wrote; @Funkeakindele I’m going perfume shopping today. If I mistakenly take anything abeg try to save me quickly.”
He added; “Thank God say jungle justice no Dey America 🚶🏾♂️.”
