Renowned Nollywood actress Omowunmi Dada expressed gratitude to God for successfully completing her tenure as a lecturer at the prestigious University of Michigan in the United States.

It is worth noting that the 34-year-old actress was appointed as the 2023 global artist-in-residence in Michigan, where she collaborated with the African Studies Center (ASC) and the Department of Afro-American and African Studies (DAAS) to develop audio-visual materials for teaching African languages.

During her residency, Omowunmi Dada, a Lagos native, provided instruction and supervision to elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as teachers in Southeast Michigan. Additionally, she delivered presentations on Nollywood and African filmmaking.

Having graced the Nollywood screen for nearly a decade, Omowunmi Dada has garnered acclaim for her roles in blockbuster movies, marking her success in the film industry.

The acclaimed Nollywood actress has appeared in the renowned film “Ayinla,” alongside Kunle Afolayan and Lateef Adedimejii. Additionally, she played a significant role in Netflix’s original series “Madam Koi Koi” in 2023 and Mercy Aigbe’s “Ada Omo Daddy.”
